A value priced Cab Sauv that is nicely balanced and has some interesting aromas of dark plum, blackberry, vanilla and pepper. Medium bodied with medium tannins and acidity make this a crowd pleaser for a bargain price.
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Beringer Founders’ Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 is great value for your dollar. This medium to full bodied wine features dark berry fruit with spice. November 29, 2015 (88/100)
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe black plums, cassis, black pepper, and a hint of spearmint, balanced acidity and tannins, and a persistent peppery finale. A really lovely cab sauv for the money.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Hay, purple lilacs, lavender, and blue plums make up the aroma, making this a very interesting wine. The taste is more traditional with blue plum and raspberry flavours. There's a little rounded tannins. and a fairly round mouth-feel as well. I'd pair this with soft and medium cheeses.
Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Lovely casis aromas with a surprising note of herbs plus spice. Medium weight for Cali CS. Easy to like Cali red with a solid level of fruit and oak that leans toward the fruit dominated end of the spectrum.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A rich, affordable wine…

Appearance: Dark red, no hint of orange
Nose: Lilac, lavender, and pepper. Interesting.
Taste: Plums, pepper, cedar, flowers, chocolate. Again, interesting
Finish: cedar, flowers, chocolate, long finish.
Overall impression: A rich wine, on the fruit. Would go well with meat, old/strong cheese.

Value: 3 out of 5
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A brilliant light purple. Nose of spice and dark fruits. High but balanced acids. Medium body. Medium dark fruit finish. Nice everyday wine with simple fare.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Black fruit and cassis on the nose and palate with some spice and vanilla also appearing on the palate. Would pair well with pizza or pasta with marinara sauce.
