Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
Deep, very opaque red colored wine. The nose is a concentration of ripe red berries (such as strawberries, cherries, blackberries) and pomegranate, with a hint of floral aromas, herbs, paprika, additional notes of spicy and toasted flavors, menthol and subtle dry earth. It is a medium to full bodied wine, but fresh, juicy, almost velvety, with ripe tannins that provide great structure. The palate is creamy, well balanced, powerful and friendly all at the same time, showing remarkable acidity. Finish is of juicy fruits and spices, crisp tannins and long, toasted flavors. Have with poultry, pork, steaks or even fish.

The Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot 2014 is an enjoyable wine at a good price. Sour cherry, red berry fruit and vanilla make up this wine in the nose and the palate. Tasted January 31, 2016 (89/100)

A plucky little red from Spain with a funky label. Bright red, medium-bodied with a rough-and-ready texture and best with food - tapas, grilled chicken, paella, yum!
Terry Jeans rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
A purplish colour with a nose of cherries, anise and spice. It is medium bodied, with tart cherries and a medium finish. A food friendly wine that does not break the bank and is not overly complex.

I appreciate the wine bottle presentation and the wine…
Presentation: Very modern, very distinctive, a little busy, but interesting foil top
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby
Nose: Leather, baked berry and apple crumble
Taste: Sour cherries, leather.
Finish: Leather, sour cherries and alcohol.
Overall impression: An interesting wine and story to the wine (read the back label).
Value: 3 out of 5

A lively petit verdot from Spain. Red berries, baking spices, and vanilla on the nose and in the glass. Persistent acidity makes this a wonderful food friendly wine - think: cheese, pizza, and pastry appetizers.
Tasted January 2016.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
Red fruit aromas with a bit of pepper and oak. Lots of tart cherry, pepper, and bright acidity mingle on the palate. Medium to long finish. Acid would be a lovely contrast to a variety of dishes, but try with a charcuterie and cheese plate.

An Organic red from Spain's Penedes region. Fragrant and fruity with aromas and flavours of cassis, vanilla, baking spices, herbs and oak. Mouth-watering acidity makes it food -friendly, with a lingering dark fruit finish.

less oak than expected from Spain. Plummy with a sweet core, and a surprisingly dry finish.
