Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
Medium lemon colour with complex and unveiling aromas of yellow pear and apple, citrus, lemon, yellow bell pepper, mineral, metallic with a touch of canned yellow and beans and onion. On the palate grilled pineapple, lemon curd, zucchini, floral and a little bit of other non-descriptive tropical fruit. Medium acidity, body and finish. Fresh and floral. Pair with medium bodied cheeses such as Swiss or Oka and carrot glazed roast chicken. 86 points November 2017

Very aromatic, with lovely notes of stone fruit, citrus, guava, golden apple and asian pear. An easy sipper. 87 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as
85/100 with the following review:
Faint nose with apple, straw and hints of vanilla on the nose. On the palette, interesting combination on minerality, wet stone, lime and a bit of honey on the finish. Pair with BBQed chicken and a salad that has a good balance of both sweet and sour flavours (e.g., honey/fruit; lemon/lime/vinegar).

Jane Staples rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
A white blend from Niagara Peninsula's Henry of Pelham. Floral, spicy aromatics with Viognier and Gewurtz leading the band. Palate very fruity, with Gewurtz developing on finish. A little too much going on here, without overall harmony.

Jacky Blisson rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
I am a big fan of Henry of Pelham. You can always count on them for precise, well-made wines; some of which are exceptional. Unfortunately this white falls short for me. While the Family Tree has undeniable virtues: freshness, balance, aromatic intensity, there is an overall lack of harmony here. The individual grape seem to stand apart rather than fusing to create a greater whole.
Simple, pleasant, short finish. Drink now.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as

Pale straw with a golden hue, the 2013 vintage of Family Tree by Henry of Pelham is 13% ABV, Niagara Peninsula VQA. This is a complex blend of aromatic whites. On the label is a tree image with the names of Speck family members. On the nose this wine shows baked apple, candied citrus, lime zest, Orange Blossom, a hint of nutmeg and vanilla, wet limestone minerality. On the palate, it shows prominently green apple, nectarine, orange blossom, minerality. With High acidity, dominant-fruit, this wine is well-balanced, juicy and mouthwatering, making it a pleasant accompaniment with Asian fare and Asian fusion or on its own. Enjoy now.

88/100 with the following review:
A lovely Niagara blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Chardnnay Musque. Lots of Niagara fruit on display in this bottle: apples, pears, peaches, blossoms, honey and wrapped in fresh acidity. LIght -bodied easy sipping white wine from the reputable Henry of Pelham family. Perfect for fish and seafood, creamy cheeses or pastas.

Lime, starfruit, and a hint of grapefruit with a crisp apple finish. Nice with creamy cheeses or salmon.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as

Loads of lime, green apple, and a touch of honey. The flavour actually brings out a bit of a floral characteristic. Fresh mineral finish. Good aperitif or to pair with a green salad
