Black plum, black cherry, sichuan peppercorn, hoisin and tobacco. A lovely wine. 91 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of leather, earthy and toasty. Tastes delight the palette with balanced tannins, hints of vanilla and smoke. The finish is smooth and medium to long. You could drink this on its own or with a winter meal (stew, dark meats, crusty bread).

Enticing dark ruby colour. Blackberry and spice aromas lift from the glass, ripe and jammy cherry notes, this is a smooth and juicy, crowd-pleasing Cab. Built to enjoy with a variety of dishes.

Aromas of plum, raspberry, and a touch of minted grape. The taste is plum with a touch of raspberry and some burlap tannins. Medium plum and cherry finish. A good, solid California Cab, pairing well with burgers, cheese, etc.

An abundance of black plum, blackberry, cherry and fresh herbs on the nose. Full-bodied with lots of plum and cherry are present on the palate followed by undertones of fresh herbs and black pepper. Tasted January 31, 2016.

Oak and fresh red fruit on the nose. Full bodied and smooth with nice balance.Tasted Jan 31/16
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Cabernet Sauvignon from the well known California producer has blueberry pie, vanilla and mocha on the nose. Very fruit forward on the palate, with more red berry and some honey. Smooth tannin, medium finish. Easy drinking and sure to appeal to a crowd, this wine would pair with a variety of main courses, but try with a marinated flank steak.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Medium deep ruby, the nose reveals a young wine with red currant/berry, blueberry, vanilla, mocha and oak spice. The palate has sweet berry, plum, vanilla, and toasty oak spice on the medium body. Well balanced with good acidity and fine gentle tannins on a medium length dry finish. This wine should have broad appeal and would be a good choice for holiday gatherings or around the dinner table - prociutto wrapped stuffed pork tenderloin with a fig/berry reduction should hit the spot.

Monique Sosa rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Wow, jammy raspberry galore! Clean pronounced aromas ripe raspberry, blueberry and vanilla. Off-dry on the palate, integrated acidity and tannins, and long ripe berry finish. A sure fire crowd pleaser. Tasted Dec 2015.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied Cab Sauv from California's Central Coast region. Juicy blueberry, cherry jam, plum, fig, vanilla and baking spices round out the palate and linger on the satisfying finish. Bright acidity and all-round great value Cab.

Robert Mondavi's Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon has been a crowd favourite for many years making it a popular choice for entertaining any time of the year. The colour is deep ruby red, the nose shows blueberry, cherry pie, clove, vanilla, and rich cedar smoke. Full bodied, the palate is round and rich, with more blueberry, dark cherry, and sweet spice that persist on the finish. A great wine to enjoy with rich tomato based pasta, seared steak with port reduction, or braised beef dishes. Tasted November 2015 & 2016. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fig and blueberry jam, vanilla, a good dose of nutmeg. Slightly smokey finish. Pair with a cheese/charcuterie tray.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great example of a California Cab with lots of dark fruit on the nose - cherry, blackberry, plum - full bodied with a smooth oak finish.
