David Skinner rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark ruby and a tight purple rim. The varietal character of Cabernet Sauvignon pops in this blend (87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc). The wine shows off fragrances of currant, herbs and cedar notes with plenty of other dark berry fruits.Mellow oak influence and a full bodied wine that showcases the cassis and smokiness promised by the nose. Well balanced tannins and acidity displaying an extended finish that continues to develop the fruit character of the wine and subtle oak influence.

While a big bloody steak is the obvious first thought, This would do very well with wild game served with cherry and rosemary sauce.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Opaque ruby in the glass, aromas of eucalyptus, blueberries, black pepper. Perfectly balanced, round mouth feel, and a lingering spicy finish. This is your ultimate steak wine!
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with big aromas of blueberry, mint, dried herbs, smoke, baking spices, dark cherry, and more. The taste is big with some rounded tannins. Flavours of dark cherry and cassis, dominate, with some of the smokiness coming through as well. The perfect wine for a rare steak.

Natalie's Review

Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Napa Valley, California, United States: A solid, well-crafted and firmly tannic Californian Cabernet that needs cellar time and then decant for 1-2 hours and pair with a rare filet mignon. Aromas of cassis, blackcurrant and dark spice. Highly recommended. Drink: 2017-2022. 435131 15% XD 1500 mL  $70.95 Score: 92/100. November 14, 2015 Top Rated Red Wine.
