Alex & Priya rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Priya: I've never met a Burgundy I've fallen in love with and this is no exception. Alex insisted I try it 2 nights in a row to give it its due so I did and I just don't like it. Too funky smelling, and tastes like its been left uncorked for a week. Nope, I'm still waiting for a Burgundy to wow me...74 pts

Alex: Oh Priya, how I long for your time to finally come...this is indeed a really funky, animal and beef jus style of Burgundy, however it gets floral with an hour of air. I did find the palate tart even for me, with some green notes and wood tannin on the finish. After 3 days however it's showing its best, with a sweet pomegranate and canned beets, peony flower, whipped cream and vanilla nose. Quite the transformation - more smoothness on the palate now and showing syrupy red fruits, but still a little rough around the edges. Much better than on opening nonetheless. 86 pts

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
