Not a taste that I enjoy. Still to early for me to judge. Because of my lack of experience in wines

Very distinctively both syrah and carmenere with a lovely dried herbal component and peppery dark fruit. Aromatically enticing with notes of dried floral, cassis, black fruit. Dry, savory and nicely focused. Excellent length. Quite intense and concentrated - best 2016-2019. Excellent value. Tasted August 2015.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour bordering on opaque with thick legs in the glass. The nose presents a little vegetal with some fresh herbs and red fruit. This blend of Carmenere and Syrah is medium+ bodied with bold tannins. Noted the gentle oak influences on the palate with a warm alcohol finish. Not a budget buster at $18. Decant 2 hours. Best served with salted and grilled red meats.
Tasted: August 2015
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby almost black in colour, the nose of this beautiful Chilean blend shows anise, plum, blackberries, black pepper, menthol, sage, and sweet baking spices. Fresh and vibrant fruit coat the medium-full bodied palate. Terrific value in red blend. Tasted August 2015. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
