Alex & Priya rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Priya: super-dry: like a rose superhero. Clean finish, that to me makes no unpleasant aftertaste. Unique color, very muted pale pink with rust or brownish undertones. Slight tartness, very full flavor for a 'light' wine, maybe more than you'd expect for a rose. Goes really well with the salad course! 89 pts

Alex: This melds really well with vinaigrette, not easy to do! Very acidic and bone dry, fresh and floral, piercing grapefruit and lemon zest nose. This becomes even more pretty as it warms up in the glass. More provencal in style with its pale salmon color and citrus abound! 87 pts
Mymi Thesingingsommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

So what would it take for Stéphane Vedeau, the owner and winemaker at ‘La Ferme Du Mont’ in the Southern part of Les Côtes du Rhône to even be interested in purchasing a piece of land to add to his vineyard collection? In his words, he is “terroir-attracted” and looks for fresh minerality in the soil.
Not only do you find that fresh minerality in the wines that he carefully crafts but you also taste the land and that natural harmonious balance that he skillfully maintains through the winemaking process. His wines are all organic products, free of chemicals and pesticides, the fertilizers are organic in nature and he even uses ambient or natural yeasts to ferment the wines.
This fabulously food friendly rosé is 100% Grenache!
In the glass, it is reminiscent of some familiar Provencal rosés with its pale salmon pink color.
There are subtle hints of toasted coconut, freshly grated nutmeg, mandarin and violet on the nose.
The mouthfeel is voluptuous and falls in my “sexy wines” category. Oh WOW! Dry with a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol… Gentle and fruity notes of nectarines and citrus. Who said a wine of this color had to be sweet?!!!
Perfect accompaniment to light summery pasta and Asian dishes. Heavenly with seafood dishes!

Natalie's Review

La Ferme Du Mont Rose 2014, Côtes Du Rhône-Villages, France: This southern French rose is made from 100% Grenache grapes. It has a pale pretty pink hue that's more like Povence than the Rhone in colour. However, on the nose and palate it's all Rhone with very refreshing and racy acidity. This wine is not filtered It offers enticing aromas of wild tart strawberries. Only 2000 cases of this wine were made. Winemaker Stephane Videau deliberaty picks the grapes before they have achieved full ripeness so that the nervy edge of acidity keeps the rose vibrant. He describes it as choosing the right time on the arc of ripening for maximum tension in the glass. Pair with planked salmon. Drink: 2014-2016. 13% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 88/100.
