Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On the nose, aromas of sweet and spiced ripe black fruit such as plums, black cherry and prunes. On the mouth, full body, round with subtle tannins. Medium acidity with a long finale. Perfect with linguini al pesto
Devon rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Soft wine very easy on the palate although the tannins are present. Cranberry, cherry and black berry. Kind of tastes like the "real fruit candies". There is some earth and vanilla present as well.. This wine could be an interesting pair with Holiday turkey meals with the cranberry notes with the cranberry sauce.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Inviting nose with hints of cedar and black current jam.Light and a bit jammy on the get go,it coats the palate but is easy to enjoy by itself.Good with BBQ chicken.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Dried cranberry and cherry, smoked meat, and vanilla. The taste is tart cherry an plum. Medium acidity, and a tart cherry finish. Pair with herb rubbed roast chicken .
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Plum and blackberry with some earthy notes and some pepper. Lots of cherry on the palate, and bright acid would make this a wonderful complement to many pasta sauces.
Philippe Perreault rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

It's a blend of Sangiovese (34%), Cabernet Sauvignon(33%) and Merlot(33%).

Deep garnet color.

A nose of cedar, spice and plum.

This wine is round, hot, medium-bodied and long.

Pair it with Italian sausage skewers.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

Ready to drink but can be aged 3-5 years.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Dark garnet. Earthy plum, black berry and cassis aromas. While medium bodied, it feels fresh and light on the palate. The tannins are present yet smooth, and the dark fruit and tobacco notes lift the finish. Great quaffing wine.
Wineboy rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Old world style wine, with measured fruit, touch of tannins, with a hint of earthiness to support the fruit and make it more interesting...
Alex & Priya rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Alex: Dusty, meaty and sour red fruits on the nose, with dried oregano and some black plum as well. Dry, midnight palate, with gentle dusty tannin, modest fruit concentration and a plush texture. Fine acidity makes this a bolognese pasta sauce shoe-in. 84pts

Priya: You know I don't like my wines to have a 'meaty' or 'bloody' nose...must be the vegan in me. This is a bit dry for my fruit-loving palate. 82pts

Natalie's Review

Falesco Vitiano 2013, Umbria I.G.P., Italy: The Renzo Masi name is almost hidden on the label (look for the small type under the vintage). A quaffable Italian red wine that is solid for this price point. Full-bodied, black fruit, good acidity. Drink: 2014-2016. 950204 13% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 87/100.
