Priya: The first thing I think when smelling this is that it reminds me of white turkey meat. It has a bit of grassiness as well. The taste is interesting. It's a bit effervescent, slightly oily in texture and a bit bitter on the finish, as they say. 87pts

Alex: Unique stuff here, New Zealand Gruner. It's akin to a warmer version of Austria as you'd expect, vaguely tropical in fruit with green mango and underripe passionfruit. There's also your hallmark grassy and withe pepper elements as well. And I do see Priya's call of turkey meat. Herbal and fruity palate, almost full-bodied, with good flavour concentration. Impressive! 88pts

A New Zealand Gruner Veltliner with honey, apricot and marzapan aromas. Light fruit flavours with peach being predominant. Medium body and a creamy mouthfeel, this wine would pair well with grilled and lightly seasoned fish or chicken. Not your typical Gruner Veltliner.

Aromas of peach, white flower and orange peel.

On the palate, this white is soft, creamy and the finish is medium.

Pair it with fish in white sauce.

Serve it at 8-10 degrees.

Fresh lemon-lime nose on this Marlborough , NZ Gruner Veltliner. Palate shows white tree fruit and lots of citrus, with a dry, medium-bodied mouthfeel and citrus finish.

Pale yellow. Fragrant nose of white peach, florals and underlying vegetal/ herbal notes. Juicy, rounded acidity and a medium body on the palate. Flavours of honeyed peach and subtle spice feature. Attractive, but lacking varietal typicity.

What an enticing nose! medium aromatic, mostly with pear and hints of white flowers.And that note of white pepper,that i also found on the palate.Fairly creamy texture, which is very sensual.Dry style.I'm more used to a crisper wine, but this is a lovely version.
