Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Dark and brooding, this wine has some black cherry and cassis fruit, but the nose is taken over by dark chocolate, coffee, and strong notes of smoked paprika- almost chipotle-like in combination with the black pepper. There is also some characteristic green bell pepper along with green olive and a touch of earthiness.
The palate on the other hand is surprisingly fruit forward with blackberry, raspberry, and cassis featured foremost.
A warming, grippy mouthfeel with medium tannins and medium acidity round out this medium-full bodied wine.
The finish is medium long with tart black cherry and some zingy pepper.
A wine perhaps best saved for after the magnum of Chateau Margaux, this cabernet sauvignon is a ready to drink offering that should please the masses.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

March 3, 2015: Deep ruby/purple with a slightly candied nose of blackberry, currant and plummy fruit with some green herb and spice. Currant and spice dominate on the palate. Nice balance overall and a step up from many commercial wines at this price point. Good wine to have on hand for BBQ.
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 is good value for the price. This full bodied wine features aromas of blackberry, plum and spice. The aromas carry on through to the palate and feature a nice medium to long finish. Fire up the grill and pair this wine with some red meat! Tasted March 3, 2015 (88/100)
Matt Steeves reviewed this wine as follows:

Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon has been a crowd favourite more many years. A welcome bouquet of dark berries, beet root, spice and graphite, it would be great with BBQ fare or on its own! Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A flavourful and fruit forward Cab. Aromas include plum, red berries, caramel, with a hint of mint and baking spice. Fruit and berry flavours come through most prominently on the palate, with medium tannin and a medium finish. Try this with BBQ ribs or other pork dishes.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A spicy nose, with very ripe blackberry and plum aromas and a touch of caramel. A silky mouth feel, medium acidity, fine tannins, and a solid ripe fruit taste. Medium finish of spicy black cherry and plum.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A bold ripe juicy red. Ripe red berries, black plums, anise, vanilla, slightly minty and and hints of baking spices (particularly cinnamon). Big tannins, medium-full body, rich texture and grippy mouthfeel.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A dark ruby red Cab with thick legs. The nose gives Thompson raisins, ripe strawberries and blueberries, repeated on the palate. Medium-bodied with medium ripe berry finish.

Natalie's Review

Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Langhorne Creek McLaren Vale, Australia: Wolf Blass first made 250 cases of the Grey Label Shiraz, but realized he could not earn a living based on such a small production of a premium-priced wine. Thus was born Yellow Label in 1966. It was created to be a crowd pleaser with the goal of quality, character and consistency, according to current winemaker Chris Matcher. Consistency is key as Yellow Label is designed to give consumers confidence that they are getting the same signature taste each time. That was the challenge to maintain when Yellow Label moved to regional selection of grapes for this vintage rather than widespread blending. Chris says that they achieve it through careful vineyard management and barrel selection. This Cabernet offers great value and attractive aromas of blackcurrant and cassis. Pair with a juicy steak. Drink: 2014-2018. 251876 13.50% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100. March 4, 2015 Best Value Red Wine.  Full Review
