The Southbrook Vineyards Connect 2013 is a beautiful organic wine. Aromas and flavours of red berry fruit, green pepper and spice. Has a certain “freshness” to this bottle. Very easy to drink. Tasted on February 1, 2014 (89/100)
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Light to medium bodied, aromas are subtle, berries,a bit of green pepper, and a slight vanilla undertone. Berry flavours are prominent on the palate. Nice, easy drinking, not tart. Balanced acidity and flavour. Try with pork tenderloin.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Organically grown , this red blend has a nose of red currant, berry, roasted red/green bell pepper and gentle spice. Medium-light bodied at 11.8% the palate is round with soft acidity and cherry/berry fruit flavour. Serve slightly chilled with grilled burgers or sausages.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A earthy nose,(heralding some cabernet franc), and some faded roses with ripe dark fruits
.It 's a bit like realizing you are lost in the woods, and daylight is starting to fade! it has a certain danger and mystery feeling. The mouthfeel is surprisingly bracing at first, then a certain fruity explosion occurs.Fun,but lighter than the nose suggests. Tart but tasty.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Juicy aromas for cherry, raspberry and blackberry with some vanilla and violet undertones. Mouthwatering tart cherry taste. Simple yet elegant!

Southbrook Vineyards Connect Red 2013, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario VQA, Canada: This Niagara red wine blend is made from 100% organically grown grapes by Southbrook Vineyards. It's the budget brand for the winery, but still delivers at its price point. Aromas of tart cherries and new earth. Pair with grilled chicken.
