Amanda Ali rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has a deep colour with rich dark fruit aromas to match it--blackberry, dark cherries and plum. These fruits and their almost "jammy" flavours carry through on the palate along with their friends--cocoa and pepper, which give a warm and slightly spicy undertone. This medium bodied wine has medium acidity and a hint of tannins; all of which make it enjoyable on its own and with food. Delicious wine all round.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Rich, big fruit flavours (blackberry, plum) along with warm spicy oak. Pepper comes through on the palate along with blackberry, plum and cherry. Full bodied with some medium tannin. This wine would be great with beef short ribs.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Chocolate, spice, black pepper, eucalyptus, and dark red cherry give this quite an enticing aroma. The first sip shows ripe red cherry, cocoa, spices, a bit of eucalyptus and a warm, voluptuous mouth feel. The acidity is medium-high and there are some fine, tight tannins. The finish is tart and warm.

I paired this wine with a slightly spicy, smoky beef stew and it was very nice.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Amazingly expressive! Blackberry, dark cherry, blueberry, vanilla, cedar, mint, leather, and black pepper. Equally deep palate. Layers of beautifully fleshy fruit, balancing acidty, herbaceousness, and a just a light dusting of peppery tannins. Amazing wine.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with the nose showing plum, spice, chocolate and earth/compost notes. Medium body with sweet plummy/cherry puree, vanilla and baking spice. A good choice on it's own or with braised beef.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

Smokey cassis on the nose, hint of eucalyptus and fresh cracked pepper
All of the above confirmed on the palate with notes of coffee and mocha, prunes and blackberry jam.
Full bodied, gripping silty tannins, medium acidity.

Rich meaty stew.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark fruit with plum, blackberry, chocolate and spice on the palate.
