A great value Chardonnay from Chile. Aromas of apple, lemon, oak,and toasted bread. Palate is similar, balanced, with nice acidity and some crispness. This wine would be great with fish, seafood, or green vegetable dishes.
Astrid Young rated this wine as
85/100 with the following review:
Super grassy with pithy grapefruit zest on the nose, slight Savory herbal note on the swirl. Medium acidity, slightly fat across the palate with mineral and lime. Nice clean grapefruit juicy finish turns a bit bitter way on the back, but pleasant, dry and definitely good value. A nice eggplant Parmesan perhaps? Would be a great match for all kinds of vegetable dishes.

Errazuriz has been making quality wines for a long time, and this super value priced Chardonnay is a great example of that. A refreshing Chardonnay that won't break the bank. Nose shows lemon-lime, melon, with a beautiful herbaceous note, reminiscent of quality Sauvignon Blanc. Lively and refreshing with just a hint of sweetness, this is a fabulous wine to enjoy with lemon chicken or on its own. A summer time favourite - Chardonnay in the Park! Who's coming? Tasted February 2015. 88+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Herbaceous and pear aromas with apple, lemon, and pear flavors.
Terry Jeans rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
This is full-bodied Chardonnay from family run wine company, Errazuriz. Exception value for a wine that is hand picked and aged sur-lies in French oak. Nice green apple, lemon, and melon characteristics, with higher acidity. Well worth the $11 price tag!

With aromas of tropical fruit, vanilla, butter and signature Chilean herbaceous notes this Valle de Casablanca Chardonnay has full body and refreshing acidity on the long, warming finish.
Pair with grilled chicken.
Drink now or cellar until 2018.
Date tasted: November 2014.
