The Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 is a must try for Cab lovers! Aromas of cherry, dark fruit and spice. Tasted November 2016 (90/100)
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of currants, black pepper, green olives and mint. Mint is more pronounced on the palate than expected, along with the fruit, some warm spices, grippy tannin and a bit of heat. Try with lamb or steak.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with a purple hue, very fragrant with layers of dark berries, eucalyptus, cedar, toasty oak, with a welcome touch of dried herbs. Tangy berries, and quite delicious. This full bodied Cabernet is ready to enjoy now and will age well over the next 5-10 years. Tasted November 2014. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.nataliemaclean.com
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Backberry eaucalyptus, black plum, and backing spices. The tastes are similar, with a touch of raspberry added. There's a little spiciness in the taste that carres through to the finish along with soem rounded tanins. A perfect wine for rare prime rib.
Martha Kelly AIWS rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Coonawarra, this elegant Cabernet Sauvignon has dark fruit flavours, spice, mint and mineral complexity, with firm tannins, and refreshing acidity. The flavours linger on the spicy finish.
Pair with finer cuts of beef.
Drink now or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Nov 16, 2014: Deep ruby/purple, nose showing all the currant and eucalyptus you could ever want with oak spice and chocolate underneath and a hint of pepper. Flavours repeat the nose. Medium full bodied, this young wine had great structure and concentration. Cellar this for 2-3 years for increased complexity and integration, and drink over the next 10+. The minty eucalyptus in the wine brings herb crusted lamb to mind.

Natalie's Review

Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Coonawarra, South Australia, Australia: Minty blackberry on the nose of this attractive Australian Cabernet. Full-bodied yet very supple and smooth. Complex and balanced, definitely not a fruit bomb. The grapes are sources from Coonawarra, a cool region in Australia. Drink: 2013-2018. 606939 14% XD 750 mL  $26.95 Score: 90/100.
