Heather Wall rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Make no mistake this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is still young. The wine was decanted 2 hours and it still had tannins clinging to every corner of my mouth. That being said, this is an awesome wine. Rich dark fruit, tart cherry, leather, bakers chocolate, coffee, anise, and graphite on the nose. The palate shows bright acidity with warm spices, vanilla, sweet cigar. The length is long with a rich fruit driven finish. Aging potential of 10 or more years. I give this wine points for what I believe it will be in the future. Paired perfectly with my medium-rare steak, also with grilled lamb shank. This is one for the collector at $260.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon that ranks with the best of them. Aromas are inky black cherry, violets, new and old leather, a touch of mint and smoke, and minerality. The fruit in the taste follows and has bright floral presence reminiscent of a really exceptional Shiraz/Viognier. There's bright acidity, lots of very tart black cherry as well as plenty of fine tannins that will improve even more over the years. And absolutely beautiful wine. Theoretically even better in 10 years, but fantastic as it is.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A 100% dark garnet Cab Sauv with slow legs showing inviting aromas of cassis, strawberry and very slight mint. A delicious palate of cassis and strawberry with soft tannins and velvety mouthfeel. Lingering finish. Will age for several years or it will drink well right now. $250., but you only live once!
