Light bodied and dry with fresh floral and citrus notes in a nutshell. A yummy pairing with white wine seafood risotto (extra parm). Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale gold, melon, apple, pear along with oak spice on the nose. Medium bodied and fresh on the palate with citrus lemon, apple, pear and creme brule on the medium long finish. Very nice overall, try with roast chicken or Quiche Lorraine.
Tasted October 2015
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

2013 vintage California North Coast 100% Chardonnay from hand selected lots. This wine is vinified in a traditional French method which is oaked with finesse. On the nose, this wine shows ripe green apple, ripe white Asian pear, Orange Blossom, and a hint of butter. On the palate this wine is crisp, refreshing, with well balanced high acidity and fruit. Enjoy now. Pair easily with pan-seared white fish in a light butter based sauce, or with Jumbo sea scallops pan fried with a pinch of coarse grain applewood sea salt and seasonal veggies.
Heather Wall reviewed this wine as follows:

Pale lemon green colour with aromas and flavours of tropical fruit, butter, citrus, white blossoms, nuttiness and toast. A slight effervescence noted. Good value California Chardonnay for $20. Perfect seafood wine.

Since 1974 Clos du Bois has producing elegant French-inspired wines with rich and flavourful California grapes. The result is a wine style that many have grown to love for over 40 years now. Their North Coast Chardonnay has the hallmarks you expect in a Cali Chardonnay, rich and creamy with notes of almond croissant, key lime, and sweet spice make it very inviting and great all year round. Medium-full bodied, the palate is loaded with crisp apple, lime, pear, and spice, leading to a silky smooth yet refreshing finish. Lobster dipped in butter, or wood-fire-grilled quail would be ideal! Enjoy 2015-2018. Tasted September 2015. 88+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pear, butterscotch and oak on the nose and palate with the taste adding some lemon and creamy nutty flavors.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas contain hints of spice, butter and toast, all subtle, along with rich lemon citrus. Similar flavours come through on the palate with nice acidity and a bit of vanilla on the finish.
Louise Wilson rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A rich bouquet of vanilla and toast transitions into mouth filling flavours of baked red apple, roasted hazelnut and baked bread. Perfect with salmon wellington. Enjoy through 2017. Tasted Oct 2014.
Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ripe peachy notes with a spice profile. In the mouth, medium to full body with a wonderful creamy texture and a great acidity balancing all the richness. Wonderful finale as well.
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium yellow. Incredible buttery, toasty nose with hints of apple and pear. This is a medium-bodied Chardonnay because of the moderate oak treatment, but still has a well integrated acidity and creamy moouthfeel. BBQ chicken would be perfect with this one.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

An inviting nose of citrus and buttered toast followed by lots of vanilla, add honey on buttered toast, ripe Bartlett pear and a touch of citrus on the rich palate. Long butterscotch finish.
Jane LeFresne rated this wine as 79/100 with the following review:

On the nose aromas of butterscotch, red apple, pear and biscuit with hints of lemon.

Flavours of green apple, lemon and butterscotch.

The wine finishes crisp and refreshing with flavours of green apple and lemon. A great wine for sipping on its own. A good Chardonnay choice for those who like a more light wine.
Kristin Perrin reviewed this wine as follows:

Butterscotch, apples and pears on the nose
Lively acidity!
Creamy & Nutty palate mixed with more apple / pear
