A blend of the North Coast's finest varieties, this wine pulls you in with a smoky berry note and then jumps up with a raspberry jam.

Un mélange des meilleurs cépages de la côte nord, ce vin vous attire avec une note de baies fumées puis explose avec de la confiture aux framboises.

A crowd pleasing fruit forward wine with flavours of vanilla dipped blueberries, mocha and baking spice. Medium bodied with easy tannins, enjoyable with or without food. Try with spaghetti bolognese. Enjoy through 2015. Tasted Oct 2014.

Cherry- herb aromas, the palate is much more expressive with plum, cherry, mocha. Sweet but with a herbal background for some character. Great pizza wine!

The Dreaming Tree Crush is a smooth, easy drinking blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah and Petit Syrah grapes. Raspberry, vanilla, and spice are predominant both on the nose and in the mouth. It would be great on its own or paired with ribs, burgers or even a meaty pizza.

Aromas of smoke and tart cherry. The flavour ballances the tart cherry aromas with some vanilla. There's a very nice , round mouth-feel and a soft cherry finish.
Jane LeFresne reviewed this wine as follows:
This red wine blend seems to have a little bit of everything with aromas of tobacco, leather, cherry, raspberry, plum chocolate and black pepper.
Flavours of cherry, raspberry and chocolate. Some big tannins and acidity but a nice wine for fall. This would be good to pair with braised meats.

Oct 5, 2014: Medium ruby, sweet/candied nose of red fruit, vanilla, baking spice and slight floral note. Approching off dry with sweet cherry, plummy, mocha, toasty wood and baking spice. Perhaps manufactured for the sweet tooth in mind - it's a rather generic, commercial wine for broad appeal that could come from anywhere. Pair with ribs or other BBQ fare with sweet sticky sauce.

My second vintage tasting this wine and once again I'm impressed with this value priced Cali red blend.
A blend of several of California's best known varietals, including Merlot, Zinfandel, Petit Syrah, and Syrah, this is a remarkable value priced red blend for immediate enjoyment.
Vanilla, raspberry jam, field berries, and a touch of wood smoke fill the nose and palate in this terrific value priced California red blend.
Pair with BBQ burgers, ribs, or simply enjoy in its own.
Tasted October 2014. 90 points. Matt Steeves @QuercusVino

Raspberry and black fruit on the nose. Cherry, plum and mocha flavors. A lighter bodied red that will pair well with a number of dishes.

The Dreaming Tree Crush Red 2012, North Coast, California, United States: LOts of toasty oak, mocha and coffee-espresso on the nose of this full-bodied, rich Californian red wine. Generous oak aging blend with fleshy ripe black plums and dark berries. This winery is a collaboration between Dave Matthews and winemaker Steve Reader. It is a blend of red grapes and finishes with a kick of vanilla spice. Drink: 2013-2015. 310391 13.50% D 750 mL $16.95 Score: 88/100. September 27, 2014 Best Value Red Wine.
