Terry Jeans rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A pretty well balanced, bargain chardonnay. Nice aromas of citrus, pear, minerality with a touch of sweetness and oaky butteriness. Would pair well many lighter dishes, from seafood to pastas with lighter cream sauces.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beringer's value priced Founders' Estate Chardonnay pays tribute to Jacob Beringer, Beringer's first winemaker in Napa, dating back to 1876. The nose shows sweet tropical and orchard fruits, butter, and vanilla. Full bodied with a creamy texture, the palate shows more apple, vanilla, with a hint of butterscotch on the long and refreshing finish. A very versatile and consumer-friendly wine that's great all year round whether celebrating over the holidays or chilling on a patio in the summer sun. Great value and a top pick for your own house white! Tasted November 2015. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A buttery and citrus aroma leads into a palate of apple and pear flavors with a butterscotch tinted finish. Pair well with seafood.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Citrus, light smoke and some honey. Lots of tree fruit add to the mix. Medium-full body with a buttery out fell. Crisp acid finish.

The Beringer Vineyards Founders Estate Chardonnay 2013 provides great value. This easy drinking wine features aromas of fresh bread, tropical fruit and green apple. On the palate, enjoy a nice the medium to long finish of green apple and buttery notes. Enjoy on its own or with smoked salmon. Tasted April 14, 2015 (89/100)
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light in colour and body, this Chardonnay is crisp apple on the nose with an ever-so-slight oak flavour. With a long finish, this is the perfect summer Chardonnay - and you can't beat the price point! Tasted April 14, 2015
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A fresh crisp clean Chard! This Chard boasts fresh orchard fruit and tropical fruit galore: green apple, pear, a little green pineapple (adding a touch of sweet smoke), lemon and pink grapefruit dominate the nose and palate. This wine is bone dry, light-medium bodied with a buttery texture, puckering acidity, and a crisp lemon-green apple finish - makes for a nice palate cleanser actually! A terrific pair with shrimp cocktail.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An aromatic Chard with citrus, mild tropical fruit and minerality on the nose. A delicious palate shows buttery rich tropical fruit, citrus and slight toast oak. Light to medium-bodied with crisp acidity making it very versatile with food. Great butterscotch finish. This is remarkable value for the price, showing consistent Beringer commitment to quality at every price point.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a sitting on the dock at the cottage type wine! Easy drinking, a bit on the sweet side, with fresh floral notes. Flavours of apple and pear combine with very minimal oak.
Great on its own or with a summery salad.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fruit and oak intermingled together on this Chardonnay, in particular pear, lemon zest, and some green apple. Slight oak adds a touch of softness, but nice acidity balances this wine out cleanly and leaves a crisp finish. Lovely with seafood or salads.
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Buttery aroma and a buttery and citrus acidic taste that would pair well with an Indian-inspired butter chicken comprised of warm spices of cumin and turmeric, and a creamy-yogurt based sauce.
Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Buttery and apple and pear aromas, some tropical fruit. Medium bodied, balanced acidity. Classic new world chard with oak evident but still in check.
Astrid Young rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Up front very typical buttered popcorn aromas and tropical notes of pineapple, prickly pear and guava. Nice and silky textured however lacks body on the mid-palate, where the acidity takes over, cleaving some vanillin to the sides of the tongue. Finishes the same, a bit one-dimentional but would be really nice with a nice filet of pickerel, pan fried in a lemon beurre-blanc.
