Ripe, round and generous, with raspberry and black cherry fruit at the core, shaded by spicy, toasty, herbal nuances. Has depth and presence, and the finish doesn't quit. Drink now through 2022. Special designation: Highly Recommended. Score - 93. (Harvey Steiman, winespectator.com, March 31, 2014)

This is an intensely flavoured, initially smooth yet slightly sour-edged cabernet. The nose is lifted, with chocolate, charcoal around the blackcurrant/cassis fruit and menthol. Also some pepper and lead pencil. Very dense, dripping in flavour, and quite hot, spicy and earthy. There is a lot here, delivered in a brash, aggressive style. Tasted July 2014
Deep dark red color. Lovely intense nose with aromas of cassis, scorched earth, licorice and provincial herbs.Classic regal Cabernet, this wine bursts onto the palate and rolls across the tongue with focus and density. Classic firm Cabernet tannins with lovely fruit weight, the flavors gently roll with the tannins to a long penetrating and intense finish.
"The Two Hands wines of this second tier have much to commend them, notably freshness and vitality. This is McLaren Vale cabernet with a regional dark chocolate twist, but the redcurrant and cassis is the heart of the wine, classy tannins and a dab of oak the icing on the cake. "

COLOUR: A lovely deep purple.
AROMA: This wine springs forth on a bouquet of lavender, creosote, warm plums, cranberries and hot oil, a lovely minty floral Asian spice follows.
PALATE: The palate is where this wine really shines as it bursts forth with a build, detail and density rarely seen from a McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon. There are very intelligent tannins at play here and they hold the varietal character right to the end, the fruit fits so beautifully into the structure.

Deep ruby. Blackcurrant and cherry on the nose, with complicating notes of anise, black tea and pipe tobacco. Smooth and sweet in the mouth, with concentrated dark berry and bitter cherry flavors showing very good clarity. Closes firm and bright, with supple tannins giving shape to the sappy finish.

Very deep purple-black in color, the 2010 Sexy Beast Cabernet Sauvignon is profoundly scented of creme de cassis, cloves and cedar with underlying nuances of baker’s chocolate, mint and pencil lead. Very full bodied and packed with taut, dense cassis flavor, it has a solid foundation of firm grainy tannins and crisp acid, finishing long and clean. Still very young and tight, consider drinking it 2013 to 2019+.

Ripe and supple, offering a velvety mouthful of blueberry, dark plum and currant flavors, shaded with hints of smoky meat and roasted herbs. Finishes with intensity. Drink now through 2017.
