Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:
A complex nose here with a mix of fruit: plum, cherry, raspberry and curiously over-ripe banana. Strong baking spice notes lead it to banana bread, with rose and anise rounding out the profile.
The florals and fruit are confirmed up front on the palate which evolves into darker, dried fruit, chocolate and vanilla.
The mouthfeel is velvety and a touch warming with pleasant acidity and tannins that are grippy but well integrated.
The dark fruit continues through the medium long finish with dried fruit, licorice and a peppery sensation capping off this medium full bodied wine.
Elk loin would do nicely here along with a berry based jus and buttery, roasted root veg

March 3, 2015: Deep purple with intense plummy, blackberry, spice, cedar and mocha nose. Full bodied and rich with blackberry, plum, pepper, chocolate, spice and herb. Enough acidity to balance the tannic backbone and carry to a long finish. A few years in the cellar may soften this. Solid value at $25.

This Shiraz is packed with flavour! Aromas include blackberry, blueberry, ripe plums and pepper. Full bodied, fruit and berry flavours carry through with the pepper and some light tannins. Smooth and rich. A great choice for your next steak night.

91/100 with the following review:
Ripe and stewed blackberry and black raspberry with white pepper and some tobacco aromas. A solid taste of juicy blackberry with some of the spicy white pepper coming through. Solid acidity and rounded tannins make this a great wine to appreciate on its own, but it would obviously pair well with steak.

Mmmm, a classic yummy Shiraz. Ripe black fruit, massive eucalyptus notes, dark chocolate, hints of cigar box, smoke and freshly ground black pepper. Full bodied, young grippy tannins, a rich luscious mouthfeel and a long chewy finish.

An opaque dark ruby red Shiraz with slow legs. Ripe strawberries and blueberries on the nose and an opulent palate adding vanilla to the berry flavours. Low tannins and long ripe berry finish.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as

This deep ruby Shiraz has lovely aromas of blackberry and licorice. It is well balanced with smooth flavours of berry, light oak and spice. It would be lovely paired with roasted beef tenderloin.

Rich velvety red in colour with scents of liquorice, spice and sweet, ripe berry that rise up from the glass and flow into a palate jammed with blackberry fruit and well-integrated smoky oak. The finish demonstrates elegant fine tannins.
