Martha Kelly AIWS rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This complex wine has intense rich layers of blueberry jam, dark cherry, chocolate, vanilla, blossom, black pepper, cloves and layers of tobacco and walnuts. The refreshing acidity, firm tannic structure, and ripe fruit are well balanced. It has long length on the ripe, elegant finish.
Pair with finer cuts of beef or roast lamb.
Drink now, or cellar until 2020.
Date tasted: October 2014.
Sara M reviewed this wine as follows:

A pronounced nose of plums and cloves leads into a juicy, polished palate of raspberries, cherries and more spice. Well structured and rich with a sultry, smoky finish. This wine is an excellent accompaniment to steak and prime rib. Perhaps the best Canadian Merlot I have ever tasted.

Natalie's Review

Nk'Mip Cellars Winemaker's Series Merlot 2011, V.Q.A., Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada: Nk’Mip is pronounced in-ka-meep and the winery is the first Aboriginal owned and operated winery in North America. Loaded with aromas of ripe plum, berries and mocha from toasty oak aging. Smooth and supple with a lovely medium body. Throughout the Okanagan Valley on cliffs and on caves are hundreds of drawings of animals and people known as pictographs. Several of these are feature on the label of this Merlot. Drink: 2012-2016. 626416 14.50% D 750 mL  $24.95 Score: 89/100. July 19, 2014  Full Review

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
