Black currant, licorice, leather, floral nose
Full bodied, gripping tannins and acidity, coffee, chocolate and cassis on the palate.

Lamb stew.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Nose reminding me of a victorian library on a november sunday.Leather, and a glass of port. The mouth is quite tannic, but not harsh. Not for your finger food, but with a hearty slab of beef it should be quite satisfying.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dark inky purple red wine with loads of cooked black berry black plum aromas. Hints of graphite and mint slide into the mix on the palate also; and wow what tremendous body! Pretty integrated tannins, luscious acidity and satiny smooth finish. Food wise, go big - pair with grilled game, bison perhaps.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Black currant, cigar, and leather. Very manly wine. High acidity and tannin. Pair with a dry aged steak.
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nice nose full of red liquorice, cherry and spices. Great balance in the mouth with a nice acidity and lots of fruit.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby with jammy red cherries and currants. Secondaries of vanilla, cedar and graphite. Nice round tannins and a long cherry finish. A very good wine and an exceptional value.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
