This rich and juicy Pinotage has concentrated ripe fruit and mocha flavours. Enjoy this wine on its own or as an accompaniment to meat and pasta dishes as well as chocolate and berry desserts.

Ce Pinotage riche et juteux offre des saveurs concentrées de fruits murs et de moka. Savourez ce vin par lui-meme ou comme accompagnement r des plats de viandes et de pâtes ou des desserts au chocolat et aux baies.

Jane LeFresne reviewed this wine as follows:

Why I tried this wine: I currently have a "thing" for South African wines. They are a great value for some really well made wines. A friend, knowing my love for Pinotage, brought a bottle over to sip on a random Tuesday night. I have read that you either love or hate Pinotage. I'm on the love side.

HINT: If you like coffee you will love a good Pinotage

Tasting Notes: This wine is a beautiful rich cherry colour.

Aromas of blackberry, plum and cherry are present in the fruit category. My favorite aromas, and the most distinct on the nose are coffee and smoke. There are also hints of vanilla.

Similar to the nose, flavours of coffee, smoke, dark red fruits and vanilla.

This medium bodied wine finishes with tart cherry, coffee flavours.

Food Pairings: I would suggest paring this with ribs, or pulled pork.

Would I buy this Wine Again: YES! I wouldn't say this is the most sophisticated wine but it sure is delicious. It's a game day wine. I would take it to a BBQ but not a dinner party. If you like Pinotage you will love this wine. It will become a fixture in your wine cellar.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
