Lots of beautiful layers to this Premiere Cru. Lovely medium ruby colour. Dry and Medium+ body. Classic aromas leap from the glass consisting of candied cherry, raspberry,red plum,barnyard,raisin,clove,vanilla,chamomile,leather
Youthful smooth tannins coat the mouth.
Aromas are duplicated on the palate while adding some strawberry jam, raisin, prune, leather,oak and some warming alcohol.
Balanced with a nice long elegant strawberry finish. Everything typical of high price Cote D'Nuits CRu done well. Loved this wine.
Drinks nicely now but suitable for further ageing.
Decanting only makes it better!

Domaine Mussy Beaunes Épenottes 1Er Cru Pinot Noir 2010, Burgundy, France: This medium to full-bodied pinot noir offers aromas of black raspberry, smoke and violets. It has depth, length and layers. On the palate, the wine has a lovely mouthfilling finesse that belies the great 2010 vintage for Burgundy. The appellation for this complex wine is AC.
