Heather Wall rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Cabernet/Shiraz blend. Deeply dark and mysterious. This wine opens with cassis, mocha, coffee and cedar. Sneaking through is pencil shavings and wet concrete - the Cabernet Sauvignon. Licorice and herbal shows on the palate. This little brother will grow up over the next 5-10 years. Prime Rib and great Canadian BBQ hamburger.
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

This is the second wine to Yalumba "The Signature". I tasted the 2006 and the aromas of green peppers made me think the cab grapes lacked maturity. It confirmed in the mouth. The 2010 has better reviews.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Scribbler is known at Yalumba Wines as the "little brother" of their Signature wine. Also a Cab Sauv and Shiraz blend, it opens with raspberries, sweet spice and a mischievous touch of licorice on the nose, followed by stronger licorice, herbs and crushed red plums on the palate. Medium to full-bodied, with spicy red currant finish, it also compliments roast beef.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
