Heather Wall rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Liquid velvet was my first thought. Deep ruby with slow moving thick legs. There is no doubt as to the full body of this Mendoza Malbec. Stewed dark fruit, prune, perfume, fig, leather, tar, floral. The palate leads to cigar box, herbs, cherry syrup, vanilla and amoked wood. It was a real treat to taste this wine.
Limited stock if you can find it. Sells out quickly even at $60. Well worth it.
Argentinian style BBQ, hamburgers, hearty beef stew.
Decant 1 or more hours

A deep ruby red, with ripe red fruit aromas and powerful flavours of ripe red plums, red cherries, vanilla, tanned leather, cedar and touch of lavender. Wonderful long creme brulee finish.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Tasted blind November 21, 2013. Nose: Sweet stewed fruit, clove, alcohol, black liquorice, cherry, damson plum, smoke and chocolate. Palate: sweet dark fruit, fruity but not jammy. A very ripe full bodied wine, beautifully balanced. Enjoy now or cellar for 5-7 years.

Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Nov 21, 2013: Blind tasting NCSG Vintages pre-release. Dark purple, with an intense nose of sweet damson plums, smoke, chocolate, blackberry, wood spice and violet note. Lots of ripe fruit concentration on the palate, very grapey, with plum and spice with good balance and length. This seems pretty tightly wound poured from bottle and evidently quality wine. The score may improve given more air time to evolve and flesh out the palate profile.

Natalie's Review

Versado Reserva Malbec 2010, Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina: Exotic Bordeaux nose that still delivers plenty of Argentine sunshine and black fruit power and concentration. There's finesse and elegance here. Aromas of smoke, dark spice, and field of black flowers. Full-bodied and smooth though decant for 2 hours. Serve only the finest cuts of meat with this red wonder. Drink: 2013-2019. 316984 14.20% XD 750 mL  $59.95 Score: 95/100. November 22, 2014 Top Rated Red Wine. Best Beef Wine  Full Review
