Jon Steeves rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A red-berry , fruit-forward juicy red blend with medium body, medium tannins. An accessibly priced option for fruit forward seeking Australian red aficionados. Pair with seared pork tenderloin, BBQ burgers or BBQ basted grilled chicken. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 85/100.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Ripe plum, jammy raspberry and milk chocolate notes - almost like a box of store-bought Valentine's chocolate - just overly sweet and uncomplicated. Acidity and tannins are moderate while the ripe off-dry berry fruit concentration (sweetness) dominate the palate. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

In the category of simple sun wines. Black berries and vanilla on the nose. Super ripe. Nothing wrong, but nothing special.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Ripe black cherry and plum along with some woody smoke and backing spice. The taste is juicy black cherry, s howing a little more sweetness than the aroma. There are some round tannins, and a smooth, cherry finish.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

With decadent flavours of raspberries and strawberry jam, yellow tail Big Bold Red will leave you wanting more. With a hint of spice this wine is bursting with ripe dark fruits and rich, bold oak character that inspired the name.

Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour with rich strawberry and raspberry aromas and a hint of spice. A slight flavour of mocha along with the berry flavours. Smooth and easy drinking, great to pair with grilled burgers on a late summer evening.
