Mario Cagnetta rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Aromatic with so many notes of berries and plums and a finish of coffee and licorice. This is “Elegance” Chateau Haut Bertinerie from the AOC “Cotes de Bordeaux”. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that reveals the main characteristics of this area, worldwide recognized for blending together those wonderful grapes. The Cabernet Franc, despite the low 10 percentage, is able to play an important role in this wine giving a lot of herbaceous notes and making the tannins a little bit more elegant. “Elegance” is a full body wine that could be aged for few years but it is already a good companion especially if it is paired with grilled meat or a good stew in a wine sauce.
Visual examination: ruby red in colour with slight purple tint, Elegance is a crystal-clear wine that shows a good consistency given by the arches after swirling the wine in the glass.
Olfactory examination: intense and complex, it has a fine quality with many fruity notes of berries and plums coming out the glass and a beautiful finish with toasted coffee and licorice.
Taste-olfactory examination: dry, warm and moderately smooth for all the softness components like sugars, alcohols and polyalcohols, Elegance is a moderately fresh, tannic wine very well balanced. After tasted, it is still intense and persistent revealing a very good quality. A good sip of France just right in your glass. Cheers.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
