Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A beautiful expression of a complex Niagara on the Lake Pinot Noir. Complex nose showing red currants, herbs, spice, leather, and tobacco leaf. Palate is equally complex. Soft and refreshing mouthfeel. Paired wonderfully with sweet and tangy bbq'd pork.
Sean O'Regan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

June 22, 2014: Medium ruby, nose is classic Pinot Noir with earthy, cherry, raspberry and toasty oak spice and a mineral note. Light bodied and silky with balanced acidity and fine tannins, sour cherry, raspberry and hints of white pepper and oak spice on a medium finish. Very versatile with food or sip on its own with a slight chill.
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This light ruby, orangish dry pinot has some nice complex aromas and flavours. Strawberries, cotton candy, cherries and floral all with come together nicely with medium acidity. Well balanced pinot that is very food friendly.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Great food-pairing wine! Juicy raspberry, strawberry, and cherry with light floral aromas, and some pepperiness. Great juciy acidity, some slight tannin, and a little earthy. Just like a pinot noir should be! Very versatile: pair with pork, chicken, burgers, pizza, or tomato-based pasta.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A well balanced Pinot Noir. Cherry, spice and vanilla aromas. Flavors of spice, strawberry and red currant.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

New world boldness with old-world complexity. Cherry, raspberry, smoke, leather and a bit of vanilla and biscuit in the aroma. The taste tends towards the cherry and strawberry with the generous acidity giving it a nice tart finish. An excellent wine with smokey BBQ ribs.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Herby-earthy-cherry / cranberry juice / mouth-coating texture with medium-low tannins and zippy acidity.

Artisan pork sausages with fresh herbs. Ball-park frank style!
Chris Coughlin rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Coyote's Run Winery is proud of their 2 soil types on their land, this is from their black soil (thus the Black Paw name). Flavours and aromas of raspberry, strawberry and a little plum, with almost dark berry flavours.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, comes this clear bright garnet red PN. Oak, vanilla and ripe red cherrie son the nose, followed by red cherries, earth and a touch of smoke on palate.
Would be great with barbequed pork kebabs.
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The Coyote’s Run Estate Winery Black Paw Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011 is a great wine. Strong aromas and flavours of cherry and spice make this wine a great choice. Tasted October 7, 2013 (90/100)
