Shelley Harris rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A buttery full-bodied white with a slightly toasty taste would pair well with a mildly spiced seafood lasagna in a creamy bechamel sauce.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Strong oak presence on this wine at first, mellows out as the wine opens up, letting through nice citrus and some vanilla on the nose. Balance of creaminess and acidity. Citrus and oak most prominent on the palate.
Martha Kelly AIWS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

With ripe apple, pineapple, and vanilla the gentle oak adds complexity to this refreshing wine. The flavours linger on the warming finish.
Pair with turkey & brie, or chicken and gravy.
Drink now, or cellar until 2017.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium lemon colour with some legs showing on the glass. Aromas and flavour characteristics of green apple, earthiness, toasted oak, peach, floral. Yogurt and vegetal notes on the back end. Acidity is Medium +. Body is medium(-). Delicious seafood wine or pasta with a cream sauce.
Tasted: NOvember 2014
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

There are some really nice qualities of oak on both the nose and the mouth feel, mixed with aromas of pear and lemon. The medium acidity is well integrated into this full-bodied white. Altogether this is a balanced white that would good perfectly with most seafood with creamy sauces.
Astrid Young rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

lightly oxidised up front, citrusy aromas, light savoury herbal note. full malo style, giving it a nice mid-palate, but lacking fruitiness overall and just a bit fat. medium finish echos malolactic flavors with an interesting creamed coffee note.
Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2012 Coyote's Run Red Paw Vineyard Chardonnay that was aged in Hungarian oak for 6 months, has pleasing aromas of pear and light roasted coffee. It is a light to medium bodied, extra-dry, fruity wine, with good acidity and a medium, wooded finish. It is quite food friendly; drink now-2016 (screw cap enclosure). My impression: NICE, 88 pts. Tasted at International Cool Climate Chardonnay – i4C event July/13.
