We are both certified Sommeliers, and that's likely thanks to our Dad who also worked in the wine industry.
When we were kids he'd travel the wine regions of the world and come back with these enchanting tales of the champagne caves in France or the impossibly steep vineyard slopes in Germany.
We like to joke that when all the other kids were learning to ride their bikes, we were learning about fermentation.
Well, fast forward 20 years or so, and we both earned our sommeliers certification through CAPS. We spent a few years working as Sommeliers and restaurant managers in Toronto.
In 2010 we decided to open our own sommelier services and wine events agency called The Wine Sisters.
