I am the proud manager of a boutique wine store in St. Albert, AB called Hicks Fine Wines. I am the wine buyer, and my passions and education allow me to do sit down in store tastings, among other great things! I have a fantastic boss who gives me a great deal of autonomy in sourcing and selecting wines for the store. Talking to people about wine, educating them, reading about wine and learning are all part of the process that I love! I finished the WSET diploma in January 2016, and now wait for my marks with bated breathe. And then? I can't wait to see what the future will hold! Traveling some wine regions might be next on my agenda? We'll see,but I can't wait!
