Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

At first glance it's pretty hard to miss this wine's intense aromas of honey, lemon and vynil. The Sua-Ann Staff Loved by Lu Riesling pours with brilliant pale lemon yellow appearance and slow thick moving legs. The look and the smell, for me, is definitely love at first glance! The palate has an incredible concentration of fruit, sweetness and mouthwateringly high acidity. The key flavours include lemon zest, wild flower honey, crisp green apple, fresh peach and a hint of salty minerality. This lovely Niagara Escarpment Riesling is medium bodied with a long zesty finish. It pairs quite well with seafood. Try it fried calamari, better yet, fish tacos! Tasted Jan 2015.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

2012 vintage is brilliant pale gold and declared at 10.5% ABV. Aromatics of fresh nectarine, orange blossom, resin. On the palate this wine shows its true colours with typical cool climate Riesling characteristics of vinyl shower curtain and stone fruit, citrus with wet stone minerality. Off-dry, medium plus acidity, medium minus alcohol, medium body, medium plus fruit intensity and balanced. Enjoy this wine with classic Asian and South Asian dishes such as mulligatawny soup, General Tao chicken or a vegan stir fry. Enjoy 2016-2020. Tasted Jan 2016.
