This crisp, refreshing sparkling wine is made from the local grapes Macabeo and Parellada. This bubbly almost leaps from the glass with aromas of baked bread, green apple and lees. Very dry and zesty. Great fizz for the New Year or with shellfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This sparkling is the ultimate value sparkling, done in the same method as a champagne. Beautiful notes of bread dough, green apple, lemon, carried by the robust effervescence. Perfect for the holidays or any special occasion with the family.
Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Clean and crisp is this Spanish blend of Macabeo, Parellada and Xarel-lo grapes from the Penedes area of Spain. There are floral notes and this would be a great wine to serve with crab and lobster.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale gold in colour, this medium bodied wine with a creamy mousse has refreshing acidity and flavours of green apple, pear, & lemon, with slight biscuit complexity.
Enjoy today, or keep until 2015.
Pair with lightly flavoured cheeses or your favourite salty snack.
Date tasted: April 2014.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon with small persistent bubbles. Medium intensity still developing aromas of lemon, apple, hay, buscuit, burnt rubber, earthiness, sweet spice, toast. Medium-bodied with cleansing acidity carries flavours of lemon/lime, apple, pear, yeast, white pepper.
Meant to be enjoyed now.
Delicate mousse with a medium uncomplicated length and finish.
Serve well chilled.
Pair with seafood Paella, blackened fish, or on it's own.
Tasted: May 2014
