Reviews and Ratings

Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Subtle nose with mineral aromas. Beautifully made Pinot Grigio with a little effervescence. Straight forward. Crisp acidity. Had it with Caprese salad and it was delicious. But since it is the fall and this Venetia-Julia wine will make your oysters party a success.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

In the words of Ruffino Brand Ambassador Robert Ghezzo this is Pinot Grigio the way it was meant to be. Salivating! Pale straw yellow with a hint of green. Light and refreshing. Golden delicious apple, pears, floral, citrus. A barely evident effervescence "typical from the terroir this wine is produced", says Robert. Grilled tiger prawn. Excellent salad wine.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

100% Pinot Grigio, light golden colour, featuring pears, unripe white peach, straw, and a hint of caper brine on the finish (a good thing!). 90 Points. -Rachel (ottawawinejournal.com)
Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

LIght, crisp aromas on this 2012 Pinot Grigio, with a certain, oaky and charred toast characteristic, which I find quite unique and pleasant, and was surprised to find out its 100% stainless steel fermentation.

Very smooth on the palate, and pairs wonderfully with the light caprese salad!

Tasted October 2013
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The aromas of pear, minerality and floral notes were quite pleasing. On the palate, this wine was simply delicious, with pear, apple and citrus. Tasted October 19,2013 (89/100)
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An elegant white, pale golden yellow, with aromas of wildflowers and pear. On the palate, pear with sage and refreshing mint, with a touch of minerality. Long, mineral and herbal finish.
Remarkable value at $12.95!
