Aromatic blueberry and blackberry on the nose, with dark berries and soft tannins on a velvety palate. Excellent choice with beef dishes.

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Well balanced, big acidity, big dark red berry and blackberry notes, medium tannins. Pairs well with red meat based dishes. Tasted 2016 vintage in Feb 2019. 88 points
Zuccardi's Serie A 2016 Bonarda is produced with wine grapes sourced from the Santa Rosa, Mendoza wine region. Great value under $20, on the nose the wine is blueberry, blackberry, violet and sugar plum. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, supple with soft tannins. Bonarda is the second most planted grape variety in Argentina. This wine may have a cult following. Give it a bit of a chill and pair it with grilled meats and root vegetables. - Community Wine Reviews
