Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

There's black berry fruits, dark chocolate, dried herbs and cedar, sous-bois, pepper and warm baking spice swirling in this wine. Tasted 2019, it was a solid pairing with Chateaubriand. 90 Points.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas and flavours of tart juicy blackberries and black plums, as well as ripe raspberries. On the nose, there is also vanilla, hints of underwood, mushroom, beets and cocoa. In addition to the fruit, on the palate we get a kick of spice and black pepper. The tannins are silky and well integrated with the fresh acidity and there is a nice long finish. This would pair well with a steak au poivre, hamburgers, or with grilled venison.

Tasted November 2017
The 2013 Zuccardi Q is a dark and broody wine. Rich and full-bodied this wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with some Malbec thrown in. Argentina's Uco Valley enjoys over 250 days of sunshine and a very temperate climate so this wine is rich in ripe dark fruit as well as cardamom, cumin and nutmeg spice. Pair with mild curries. - Community Wine Reviews
