Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Corvina Veronese blend is pleasant, medium body Valpolicella. The nose started with a strong wet earth note that was a bit of relief when it gave way to plummy fruit notes
with a slight floral note. The palate continued with dried plum-like note. Tannins are fine and chalky. Medium length finish. Great match for pizza, pasta or cheeses.
Zenato 2016 is a great value Valpolicella from the Veneto wine region. Founded in 1960, Zenato is one of the most iconic and trusted names in all of wine industry. For more than half a century, Zenato has concentrated on making premium wine in Veneto. Full-bodied, juicy and tasty, this traditional wine blend of Corvina Veronese with Rondinella and Corvinone is hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel before being aged in oak for one year. Lots of mouth-watering acidity to go with ripe raspberry, cake spice, pepper and smoky flavours on this elegant red. Pair with pastas in meat sauce or sausages. - Community Wine Reviews
