Mocha and dark chocolate on the nose and palate from generous oak aging on this Australian Merlot. Flavours of blackberry and dark plums. Pair with pepperoni pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

This is a warm climate merlot with lots of red berry, ripe plum and black berry fruit on the nose and palate. A choice option for low price point seeking lovers of fruit-forward medium-bodied Australian reds. Pair with BBQ burgers , mesquite fajitas, chicken nachos. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 85/100.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Floral, ripe berry and dusty tannins. Acidity is dearly missed. Light bodied with a short finish. Crowd pleaser maybe? Enjoy with Doritos and jalapeño cheese dip. Rated Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
