Terrific Californian Cabernet for the money! Wow. Cedar brush cassis and blackcurrant on the nose and palate. This would be a great party wine or wine for a wedding as it tastes a lot more expensive than it is and will please many palates as it's full-bodied and smooth but not heavy. Pair with hamburgers.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: prime rib, filet mignon.

Reviews and Ratings

Shaunna Marto Chef, owner rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Smooth and velvety, layers of lush dark fruit flavors. Grabbed it quickly, awesome price at LCBO. Surprisingly drinkable for the low price, would recommend for large parties and gatherings, anyone watching their wallet but still wants a great tasting wine!
I'm having it with spicy roast pork and it's going down smoothly. Would recommend buying.
Cheers!

Shelley Harris rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

A dry ruby red wine with raspberry and other berry flavours. A smooth finish. This wine would be lovely paired with a cheese platter, especially one with various aged cheeses.
