Superbly made with rich lines of blackberry and blackcurrant flavours and smoky-sigh finish. Nice balance and mouth-watering juiciness. Great price-quality ratio. You'll be looking longingly at your glass with this wine in it. Wait no longer.

Reviews and Ratings

Wolf Blass (the man) deliberately ignored Coonawarra during his executive winemaking career because he found the texture and flavour of its red wines incompatible with the style he favoured, but times have changed. Deep crimson-purple, it is more savoury and less oaky than anticipated, with a zesty finish and aftertaste to its array of blackcurrant plus Coonawarra's signal of earth and mint. It will sail through to 2020. Score - 93 James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Nov. 2011
