One of my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs year after year! It's herbal but not too grassy with a lovely lime lift through the mid-palate and finish. Crisp and refreshing. The grapes for this zesty white wine come from Rarangi, Benmorven and Taylor River regions. Minerality, umami, old foreshore, sea salt and lime aromas. This would be perfect with seafood and light-hearted conversation.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: chicken, pork tenderloin, hodge-podge, pasta.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love those New Z Sauv Blancs!
This one has a nose of gooseberry and canned asparagus, and only the Marlborough folks know how to make canned asparagus taste this good. The palate gives lemon-lime, slight mint and fresh green peas. Try this with chicken and vegs in Alfredo sauce and see what I mean!
Minerality runs through the core of this zesty single vineyard white wine from New Zealand. The vines are influenced by sea, salt and limestone. This is part of the winery's single vineyard range. - Community Wine Reviews
