Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A ripe and fruity Pinot Noir crafted in a predominantly new world style. Cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate mix with mild oak and a light earthy note. Bright acidity, soft tannins, and medium-plus body of 13.5% ABV. While soft, the tannins have persistent grip through the ripe finish. Decent wine at a decent price, you won't be disappointed if you give this a light chill and serve with salmon, tuna, turkey, or duck.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This expressive Pinot Noir is on the weightier end of the Pinot Noir scale. A deep black cherry colour in the glass. Black Cherry on the nose with a hint of scorched earth. Earthy cherries on the palate. Light tannins extend the finish. Try it with duck sausage. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Brought to you by Joe Dobbes Wines, Wine By Joe 2015 Pinot Noir is brought to us from the Oregon's vineyards to the west of the Cascade Mountains. With ocean influence the Pinot Noir grapes benefit from the cooling breezes and also the reason why Oregon is an ideal wine region for the finicky PN grape. The 2015 was a near perfect Pinot Noir year. The 2015 vintage is fragrant with earthy florals, fresh mushroom and bright dark cherry aromas. Great acidity for food. Pair with roast duck. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
