Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A varietal Chardonnay from Marlborough, New Zealand, this light-bodied wine has citrus and stone fruit aromas. The dry finish has some notes of yeast and candied fruit. With the lighter acidity, pair with lighter foods like poultry or creamy pastas.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This is a light-bodied Chardonnay with a soft, round mouthfeel. Unfortunately some of its charms are lost to the pronounced oak that dominates the nose and palate. This would make an easy sipper on its own or serve with chicken flatbread. Tasted February 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Marlborough, South Island Whitehaven 2018 Chardonnay is bright grapefruit, lime zest, fresh apple and white-fleshed stone fruit flavours with a lingering nutty and leesy finish. Elegant and beautifully balanced. Whitehaven Vineyards are certified sustainable - Community Wine Reviews
