Elegant and juicy, this classic Californian Cabernet was matured 20 months in new French oak, American and Slovenian oak barrels. Rich with ripe black currant, red berry compote, vanilla, minty herb and smoky flavours on the palate. Simply delish. Pair with roast duck.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: roast beef with root vegetables, baron of beef with red wine sauce and scalloped potatoes, flat iron steak on the BBQ.

Reviews and Ratings

From Livermore Valley, Wente's Wetmore Vineyard 2016 is a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon blend with 9% Petite Sirah, 8% Petit Verdot and 4% Malbec added for depth and finesse. Full-bodied and elegant with layers of ripe dark fruit, black currant and baking spices on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
