Woodsy and rustic with sweet juicy cherry flavours. This is a lighter version of Baco Noir that would suit barbecued ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Eric rated this wine as 89/100
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Major floral, plum and spice aromas on the nose which translated to a ripe berry, spice and chalky/graphite minerality flavours on the palate. Tannins are present but tame. Drink now and pair with braised beef tacos. Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Ruby red hybrid varietal Baco Noir , declared 12.5% ABV. Mouthwatering acidity, rich blueberry, blackberry and a hint of oak on the palate. The nose is graham cracker all the way. Medium finish with persistence of blueberry and vanilla. Pairs well with hot Italian sausage, rack of lamb, and easily pairs with a hockey game and pub food such as a pound or two of Wings. Tasted Jan 2017. Rated 86/100. Good value and sporting the #99. Great option for celebrating Canada 150 in 2017.
