Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A bit more of a rustic style of Cab Sauvignon, but very tasty. Aromas of dried herbs, eucalyptus, currant and mocha. Full bodied, some smooth tannins with a bit of a smoky bite on the finish. Enjoy with a grilled steak.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Well structured, balanced, cassis, berry, dark chocolate and baking spices. Pair with a BBQ steak or a hefty roasted root vegetable and quinoa vegan salad. Tasted 2015 vintage in May 2019, perhaps over decanted. Looking forward to tasting another bottle fresh. 89 points
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Sweet ripe red fruit and dark fruit with cinnamon, vanilla, and sweet oak spice. Soft tannins, good acidity and body. Palate and finish add gree pepper to the fruits and spices. Typical and accessible Cabernet Sauvignon ideal for burgers or shepherds pie.
From the Stellenbosch wine region, Waterkloof Circumstance Cabernet Sauvignon is a modern and sensuous Cab with ripe plum, red berry, cassis flavours and juicy acidity for food. Tannins are fine and firm. Enjoy with a grilled steak. Drink now and for the next five years - Community Wine Reviews
