This luscious tawny port is redolent with aromas of toffee, caramel, baking spice, toasted almond and hazelnut. It's perfect for biscotti, hard cheeses, nuts and crème brûlée.

Colheita Tawny Port food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Burnt sugar, assorted nuts, molasses and toasted oak. The length is long with warming alcohol and spices finish.
Tasted: April 2015
Master Blender Charles Symington has created this Colheita Port which is a single-vintage Tawny Port in that all the grapes were harvested during one year rather than from multiple years and then blended as are other tawny ports. Colheita Ports also differ from other tawnies in that they must spend a minimum of 7 years in oak barrels aging, though some may spend up to 50 years in barrel before bottling. In declared years vintages like 2000 Colheitas are a staggeringly great value. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
