Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Love this style of Chardonnay! From South Island, Nelson, New Zealand, this certified sustainable vineyard makes this mouthwatering Chard with a fragrant nose of ripe guava, pineapple, buttered toast and slight citrus. The palate blossoms with tropical fruit, buttered toast and lemon. Full-bodied with great acidity, good structure and a lingering lemony finish.
Tasted April 2016
The family-owned Waimea winery is nestled in the heart of Nelson with 140 hectares of vineyards that are certified sustainable. Well-drained soils and the highest number of sunshine hours in the country ripen the grapes to great complexity. - Community Wine Review

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
